Dominique Carrel-Billiard Amundi Deputy Director

Earlier this week Amundi confirmed the hiring of Dominique Carrel-Billiard as deputy director and executive committee member. Carrel-Billiard is specifically tasked with overseeing Amundi's $3.76-billion acquisition of Pioneer, which was revealed last week and is expected to close in the first half of 2017.

Carrel-Billiard is an alumnus of both HEC Paris and Harvard. He previously worked at Credit Commerical de France and McKinsey. He also led AXA Investment Managers as CEO, and most recently he served as directeur general for LFDE (La Financiere de l'Echiquier).
