Tuesday, March 7, 2006 OppFunds Taps Tech Chief OppenheimerFunds has tapped a new top executive to oversee its IT Infrastructure. Former T. Rowe Price technologist James F. Bailey signed on with the MassMutual fund arm to oversee the technology in its Centennial, Colorado offices. Bailey had headed T. Rowe Price's software development, implementation and engineering. Before that he was a senior vice president of IT and Investment Operations at MFS Investment Management. At OppenheimerFunds, Bailey takes the title of senior vice president of Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure. He will oversee management of corporate technology functions such as data centers, networks, telecommunications and help desks and will report to Chief Operating Officer Michael Baldwin.
