Wednesday, May 24, 2006 NYLIM Gets New CEO New York Life Insurance Company announced Tuesday that Brian Murdock has been promoted to CEO of New York Life Investment Management, the subsidiary that includes the retail MainStay Funds family. Murdock, who has served as NYLIM's president since 2004, will take over from Gary Wendlandt on July 1. Wendlandt has been promoted to senior executive vice president of parent New York Life Insurance Company, but remains chairman of NYLIM.
