Tuesday, May 22, 2007 Fidelity Venture Bet Adds Second Private Equity Fund Fidelity Venture chief Rob Ketterson is getting the opportunity to run a broader portfolio for the Johnsons. The private equity specialist is starting a new fund -- Fidelity Equity Partners -- that will invest in fast growing, small- and mid-sized companies, reports the Boston Herald. The fund will also absorb the portfolio of Fidelity Capital Investors, which invests primarily in Boston-based businesses. The Fidelity Equity Partners fund will have $500 million in assets handled by six principals in Boston and London who are seeking majority investments in business worth $50 to $150 million.
