Tuesday, August 14, 2007 Boston Herald: Some Advisors Unsettled by Fido Departures The latest changes in Fidelity's top ranks are causing some financial advisors to feel uneasiness about the Boston Behemoth's funds. The Boston Herald talks to two RIAs Neil Collins (Collins Financial Advisors) and Steve Batzell (Abacus Financial Advisors) only to discover that they are a "bit unsettled" by the recent changes at Fidelity, including Ellyn McColgan's unexpected resignation. Dalbar's Lou Harvey also predicts that the departures could cause bad publicity that will lead to Fidelity "paying a price." A Fidelity spokeperson restates that the fund firm has plans for a "smooth transition" in place. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=15386 Copyright 2007, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
