Friday, January 4, 2008 WSJ Re-Writes Best of List Today's WSJ FundTrack goes through a re-run of yesterday's Morningstar best of-list. Getting a mention in the pub were Will Danoff, of closed-end Fidelity Contrafund (Domestic Stock Fund Manager of the Year) and the ever popular Bill Gross of PIMCO (Fixed-Income Manager of the Year). Back in August when the subprime mess was revving up, PIMCO held a conference call in which Gross explained that the company was in a position to take advantage of the coming crisis; guess he was right.
