Reuters reports that Kraus' retirement follows a year of disappointing hedge fund returns. Kraus' retirement leaves Edward Forst, who succeeded 23-year Goldman vet, Eric Schwartz, as co-head of the asset management business in September, as the sole executive in charge of asset management.
