Thursday, April 3, 2008 Vanguard Global Index Fund to Set Sail This quarter, Vanguard will be taking the wraps off its first global index fund. The announcement that came out of the Valley Forge, Pennsylvania-based fund giant on Wednesday was picked up by several media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal. The Vanguard Global Stock Index Fund will track the FTSE All-World Index and will come in investor, institutional and ETF share classes. The expense ratio for the ETF shares will be 25 bps, while the investor shares will sport a 45 bps expense ratio and the institutional shares, 20 bps.
