Wednesday, May 7, 2008 Fidelity Faces Another Whistleblower Suit An ex-Fidelity fund manager has slapped suit against the Boston Behemoth, alleging that Fidelity fired him after he had pointed out alleged violations of securities law. The complaint was filed Tuesday at a federal district court in Boston by Jonathan Zang, who worked at Fidelity for seven years until 2005. Fidelity spokeswoman Anne Crowley told The MFWire that "the claims by this individual are without merit and we will vigorously defend against this suit." Crowley said that the suit includes claims that were dismissed on the merits by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and on appeal, was dismissed by the Department of Labor's administrative law judge.
