Friday, May 23, 2008 Morgan Stanley Taps Ex-Marsh Exec for a New Role In keeping with its focus on the alternatives investment space in its asset management business, Morgan Stanley hired David Lessing in March to be the head of business development for Morgan Stanley Investment Management and wealth management. Lessing was formerly the head of the U.S. middle market and client development businesses at Marsh Inc. He was part of a group that followed Mark Feuer, from Merrill Lynch to Marsh.
