Wednesday, May 28, 2008 Month-Old Northern Trust ETF Foray Gets WSJ Play It's been more than a month since Northern Trust Global Investments made its entrance into the ETF space, but it was only on Wednesday that the Wall Street Journal's Fund Track picked up the news on the Chicago-based company's arrival in the market. Since early April, Northern Trust has launched 14 Northern Trust Exchange Traded Shares, or Nets, that track single-country indexes. According to John Spence, who penned the Fund Track column, Northern Trust has other products that are in registration, such as broader international-stock ETFs and real-estate portfolios.
