Monday, June 9, 2008 Foreign Currency Exchange-Traded Products Get WSJ Spotlight In Sunday's WSJ, Eleanor Laise gives investors the upsides and downsides of the new exchange-traded products that bet on foreign currency. Getting a mention for their products in the story are the WisdomTree/Dreyfus currency income ETFs and Morgan Stanley's ETNs. The story may not do much to stoke the average investor's interest in the products, though. Jeff Tjornehoj, research manager at fund tracker Lipper, told Laise, "Unless you're accustomed to watching the market very closely, I don't see how useful these are."
