Monday, August 25, 2008 A DWS Portfolio Team Exits the Company Two portfolio managers are among the recent departures at DWS Investments and their destination, according to a published report, is Victory Capital Management. Matthias Knerr and Chris LaJaunie, portfolio managers of the DWS International fund and the DWS International Select Equity fund have left the firm, a DWS spokesman confirmed to The MFWire. The spokesman also confirmed the departures of analysts Camas Hunter and Elie Masri. New hires Andrew Manton and James Craske have also left the firm. Knerr and LaJaunie's duties have been taken over by Joseph Axtell, a managing director who runs the DWS Global Opportunities fund. Michael Sieghart from Deutsche's Frankfurt offices joins Axtell in portfolio management duties. The other four analysts' jobs will be absorbed by other team members.
