Monday, September 15, 2008 Trio of Funds Firms Stand to Lose on Lehman Bets Three fund firms may be hit hard by Lehman's Brothers' collapse. Bloomberg reports that Pimco, Vanguard and Franklin Advisers face collective losses of more than $86 billion on Lehman's bonds. Citing SEC filings, the pub says Pimco holds Lehman bonds in at least 12 of its funds, star fund manager Bill Gross was buying Lehman bonds as recently as June.
