Thursday, November 20, 2008 Fidelity Plans to Shed 300 U.K. Jobs Fidelity plans to let go of 300 out of its 2,100 employees in the U.K, the Daily Mail reports. The affected workers will depart Fidelity International after Christmas. 'Due to market conditions, we have been reviewing costs across the business," the pub quoted a Fidelity spokesman as saying. "We have seen net redemptions due to loss of confidence in equity markets but they have become less as the year has gone by."
