Wednesday, March 11, 2009 Schwab Scouts for Fund Wholesalers Schwab is searching for wholesalers to pitch the Laudus and Schwab Funds, according to the company's Web site. The firm is looking for a wholesaler based in Chicago and another based in Boston, New York or Philadelphia. The wholesalers will target RIAs, bank trusts, independent broker-dealers, and third-party administrators. It could not immediately be confirmed whether the posts are new or whether the wholesalers will be replacing others.
