The Wall Street Journal's Janet Paskin reports that mutual fund firms are going after the under 40 crowd by trying out Web 2.0 tools like podcasts and social networking (a la Facebook). Paskin points to Fidelity, Pimco, Schwab and Vanguard as some examples of asset managers who revamping their online presence for the younger generation. Pimco's Facebook profile even boasts 65 fans.
