Monday, August 3, 2009 WSJ Sees Janus Funds Rebound Strongly Janus' rollercoaster ride may have fewer twists and turns ahead for mutual fund investors if recent Morningstar figures are any indication, wrote Tom Lauricella in the Monday edition of the Wall Street Journal. Janus' 10 largest funds rank in the top half of their Morningstar categories so far this year and sit well ahead of their benchmarks. Eight of those 10 funds place in the top third of their fund category for the past three years and six stand in the top 5 percent for the past five years. The Denver-based investment firm's long-term returns are also generally outpacing competitors and the rest of the market. Lauricella quotes Jonathan Coleman, co-chief investment officer at Janus.
