Tuesday, August 11, 2009 Global ETF Assets are Up 11 Percent in the First Half IndexUniverse picked up on a Barclays Global Investors report which shows that global ETF assets went up by 11 percent in the first six months of the year, to $789 million. Daily ETF trading volumes, meanwhile, are down 17 percent from the year before. The increase in assets surpassed the 4.8 percent rise in the MSCI World index in the same period.
