Monday, April 8, 2002 Mini-Raid on Hancock Toronto-based TRC Capital aimed a min-tender at John Hancock shareholders Friday in an attempt to buy the insurer's shares on the cheap. The offer was for 10 million shares at $37 per share. At the time Hancock shares were changing hands north of $38.
