Thursday, January 7, 2010 FRC's ETF Analyst Departs Financial Research Corp.'s ETF and managed account analyst has moved on. Rob Ivanoff left the Boston-based Mercatus subsidiary on December 31. Ivanoff could not immediately be reached for comment. FRC is looking for a replacement, said CEO Bruce Fador. FRC's director of research, Larry Petrone, is handling Ivanoff's former responsibilities while the search is ongoing. In the wake of Ivanoff's departure, FRC has expanded the role to include coverage of alternative investments, Fador added. Ivanoff worked at FRC for nearly three years. Previously, he worked as an analyst at Citi Hedge Fund Services and earlier was a mutual fund accountant at State Street.
