The Tradewinds Emerging Markets Fund and Nuveen Tradewinds Global All-Cap Plus Fund are, as the name suggests, subadvised by Tradewinds. The funds represent the fifth and sixth time Nuveen has partnered with Tradewinds. The emerging market funds is managed by Tradewind's Emily Alejos and Michael Hart. The fund carries an expense of 185 basis points for A shares, and 160 for I shares, according to the filing. The all-cap invests in U.S. and foreign securities using a long/short strategy. The fund is managed by David Iben and has an expense of 225 bps for A class shares and 192 bps for I class shares. A representative from Nuveen could not be reached for comment.
