Tuesday, February 2, 2010 Hartford Hires a BNY Mellon Veteran Hartford Investment Management has hired Joseph Darcy as executive vice president and sector head of municipal finance. Darcy, who started at Hartford Monday last week, joined Christopher Blade in running the High Yield Municipal Bond Fund and Tax-Free National Fund. Darcy previously spent 16 years at BNY Mellon Asset Management, where his duties included portfolio management of $5.5 billion in open-end national- and state-specific mutual fund assets, as well as an oversight role on one of the firm’s research and trading platforms.
