Monday, February 22, 2010 Bogle Praises Bill Gross In an interview with TheStreet.com Monday, Vanguard Group founder Jack Bogle said Pimco's Bill Gross is someone people should be listening to in the next decade. "I'm a great admirer of Bill Gross. He may not always be right, and they tend to take some unusual risks out there. But they have paid off," Bogle told TheStreet's Gregg Greenberg. "My hat is off to Bill Gross for the job he's done on fixed-income management." Bogle also lauded Warren Buffett and Paul Volcker for their integrity and political objectiveness, and President Obama, saying "I don't believe he has a rival anywhere who could be president besides him. And I'm a Republican, actually." Although he didn't touch on Vanguard mutual funds, Bogle also touched on stock prices, Alan Greenspan and Obama's war on big banks in the interview.
