Wednesday, May 1, 2002 New Neuberger Fund Neuberger Berman has launched a new fund, the Neuberger Berman Real Estate Fund. This fund will seek capital growth and current income by investing in real estate securities. Steven Brown will manage the fund. "When Mr. Brown joined us to form the Real Estate Securities Group in January of this year, our goal was to develop an institutional real estate securities effort that would augment Neuberger Berman's diversified investment strategies and our highly-regarded mutual funds," stated Peter Sundman, president of Neuberger Berman Management Inc., the fund's adviser and distributor.
