Thursday, June 13, 2002 Schwab Arm Taps Knight Trading Schwab Capital Markets, the institutional trading arm for Schwab, has landed another senior sales executive. This time the pickup was David Scialabba. He joins Schwab from Knight Trading and takes the title of vice president and senior managing director of institutional sales. He reports to James Raphalian who heads the institutional sales group. Two weeks ago the firm hired Mark Murphy from Bear Stearns to head its Boston Institutional Sales office. Raphalian himself joined the firm from S.G. Cowen & Company in March. Schwab Capital Markets provides trading, research and support services for institutional clients.
