Wednesday, March 3, 2010 Ex-MSSB Exec is Heading to Fidelity Phil Casparius is taking the national sales manager post at Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company, The MFWire has learned. He will report to executive vice president Jim Supple, who served as FIIS' national sales manager prior to being appointed head of distribution last fall. FIIS is the unit that distributes Fidelity's mutual funds and 401(k) products through intermediaries. Casparius could not immediately be reached for comment for this story. A Fidelity representative said the firm "has nothing to announce at this time." Most recently, Casparius was senior managing director of advisory sales and business development at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
