Friday, March 12, 2010 BlackRock Hires a Legg Mason Alum BlackRock has brought on board Matt Klasnick, a Legg Mason alum, as a wholesaler last week. Klasnick started at the firm on March 1 as a vice president in the strategic alliances group, according to a source. Klasnick declined to comment. A BlackRock spokesperson declined to comment, citing company policy. Klasnick previously worked as a divisional sales manager with Legg Mason. He left Legg Mason last year.
