Friday, May 7, 2010 kasina Misses its Ma Mike Ma, principal and chief business officer at consulting firm kasina is leaving the company after nine years, the MFWire has learned. Ma will join Vanguard next month as a marketing executive in the retail marketing group. "It's an exciting opportunity to be able to work with a top flight brand like Vanguard. The opportunity was hard to pass up," Ma told The MFWire. Although he didn't give specifics on his new duties, Ma said he was keeping an open mind, entering with no preconceptions and is "looking to bring more members into the Vanguard family." Ma took his partnership at kasina in December 2008. He had run sales and marketing for the company until that point. He reported to kasina CEO Steven Miyao. When asked about how kasina will fill his duties, Ma responded: "We've been constantly hiring long before my departure. We've been on a constant hunt for talent for the past year and have already brought on great people. The machinery in already in place." "kasina is an amazing place. I'm sad to be leaving," Ma said.
