Friday, June 25, 2010 Dreyfus Catches Active ETF Fever Dreyfus is about to get into the active ETF business. Earlier this month the BNY Mellon subsidiary filed with the SEC to create an unspecified number of actively-managed ETFs within a brand new Dreyfus ETF Trust. Beyond noting that Dreyfus may use sub-advisors (perhaps other BNY Mellon managers), the ETFs themselves are not described. The MFWire could not immediately reach a Dreyfus spokesperson for further comment on the move. Dreyfus is no ETF neophyte. In 2008 it partnered with fundamental indexer WisdomTree to launch five currency income ETFs. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=32619 Copyright 2010, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
