Wednesday, August 11, 2010 AllianceBernstein Has a Trio of New Hires AllianceBernstein has three new faces on its retail relationship management team. Greg Erwinski, Mike Capella and Jose Cosio joined over the past few weeks, company spokesman John Meyers told The MutualFundWire. The three, all of whom sport the title of vice president and relationship manager, report to Eric Levinson, head of the relationship management team for retail distribution partners. Erwinski and Capella are replacing others, while Cosio is taking on a newly created post. Erwinski is responsible for relationships with Merrill Lynch, UBS and Raymond James. He previously spent 11 years with Legg Mason and its predecessor firms. Capella is responsible for Wells Fargo, LPL and Commonwealth. He formerly worked at T. Rowe Price. Cosio focuses on growing the firm's offshore mutual fund business. During the last year, he was a consultant on capital markets, private equity and offshore registered funds for non-US resident investors.
