Monday, August 16, 2010 A Legg Mason Vet Dies Legg Mason [see profile] veteran Ernest Kiehne, who once co-ran the firm's flagship mutual fund, passed away Friday last week, The Baltimore Sun reports. Kiehne, 92, died in his sleep. He is survived by his wife Nancy, son Chris, daughter Barbara and several grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Divinity Lutheran Church in Baltimore. Kiehne was a founding manager of the Legg Mason Value Trust Fund and co-ran it alongside Bill Miller until 1990.
