Wednesday, August 14, 2002 Taking the Controls at Jefferson Pilot Jefferson Pilot Financial has named Warren May as vice president of marketing and distribution. He will join the company in October and will have responsibility for overseeing JPF's marketing and sales distribution system. May will succeed Kenneth C. Mlekush, president of Life Companies, who will remain with the company as vice chairman in an advisory role until his planned retirement in February 2004. May will report to Dennis Glass, president and chief operating officer, and will serve on the company's Management Committee. May was previously chief executive officer of Travelers Life Distributors and chairman of Tower Square Securities, Traveler's broker dealer.
