Friday, August 27, 2010 Top Retail Sales Job Opens Up at ING The national sales manager job has opened up at ING Funds [see profile]. The MFWire.com has learned that Joe Hart has moved on to another role within the firm. Charlotte, North Carolina-based Hart now serves as a "spokesperson for the firm's retail investment business," according to an ING spokesperson. Hart could not immediately be reached for comment. Mark Spina, who runs distribution for ING Investment Management, has assumed the national sales manager duties on an interim basis. The change took effect this week. Hart, one of the passengers on the US Airways jet that crash-landed in the Hudson River last year, has been with ING since 2004. He previously worked at Prudential Investments, Stephens Inc. and Evergreen Investments. ING Funds has 42 external wholesalers, 25 internals and 14 hybrids.
