Tuesday, September 24, 2002 JPMorgan Funds Wins US Distribution London-based JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management has won distribution for its international products through both Salomon Smith Barney and ING Barings. The asset management arm of JPMorgan Chase said the deal is the first such win for the firm in the United States. "We are excited to introduce to U.S. investors our international investment management expertise and long history of out-performance in Europe and the Far East," said George Gatch, managing director and president of JPMorgan Funds in a statement. He said that Salomon Smith Barney and ING Barings added four JPMorgan Fleming products (International ADR, Global ADP, EAFE Plus and Global) to their mutual fund, managed account, and variable annuity product lines.
