Wednesday, September 25, 2002 AdvisorCentral Adds Fund Family Heritage Funds has signed on with AdvisorCentral, bringing the total number of fund families carried on the portal to at least 41. AdvisorCentral, which acts as a clearinghouse of funds for advisors, plans to make the additions in October. Tampa Bay, Florida-based Heritage is the fund brand for Raymond James Financial and has reportedly been adding assets even during the bear market. The fund family claims $7.7 billion in assets. Joining the AdvisorCentral platform is part of an effort by Heritage to add distribution outside of the Raymond James network. "Participating on the AdvisorCentral portal enables us to better support and service our growing financial advisor base. AdvisorCentral's growing list of prominent broker-dealers fits well with our strategy to increase the level of service we provide to financial advisors," explained Matt Calabro, vice president, Transfer Agent Services of Heritage in a statement.
