Monday, January 10, 2011 Will State Street Fall for Quincy's Charms? Quincy, Massachusetts is embarking on a big downtown redevelopment project and city officials are eyeing Boston-headquartered State Street Corp. as a possible anchor, The Boston Herald reports. "That's an anchor we'd love to see," the paper quoted Mayor Tom Koch as saying. The $1.3 billion redevelopment project is expected to be completed within the next decade. State Street is no stranger to Quincy. Boston Financial Data Services, a joint venture between State Street and DST Sytems, is headquartered there.
