Monday, September 30, 2002 Strong Rolls Out Loaded Muni Fund Duane McAllister has taken the reigns as portfolio manager of the Strong Advisor Municipal Bond Fund. The new fund was opened to investors today and is Strong's first muni-fund offering that carries a load. He reports to Lyle Fitterer, director of Municipal Investments at Strong. The fund firm now employees 11 professionals on its municipal bond team. McAllister most recently managed the AAL Municipal Bond Fund for nearly eight years with Appleton, Wisconsin-based AAL Capital Management Company. Prior to managing the AAL Municipal Bond Fund, he was a municipal portfolio manager with Northern Trust Company in Chicago.
