Tuesday, February 8, 2011 More Equal-Weight ETFs are on the Way from Rydex Rydex [see profile] has big plans for the equal-weight ETF market. Yesterday the Guggenheimer Partners subsidiary unveiled the Rydex MSCI ACWI (All Country World Index) Equal Weight ETF (see The MFWire, 1/13/2011), and InvestmentNews' Dan Jamieson reports that Rydex has more equal weight ETFs in the pipeline. "We want to own it," Rydex managing director and portfolio strategist Tony Davidow told INews. According to the trade pub, Davidow "hinted" that Rydex could launch an equal-weight Japan ETF this year, among others.
