Monday, February 28, 2011 Goldman Sachs Has its Eye on the 'Next Eleven' Goldman Sachs Asset Management has rolled out a mutual fund that focuses on the group of countries dubbed "Next Eleven" (N-11). [SEC filing] N-11 refers to countries that could potentially follow the BRIC economies in having a major impact on the world. GSAM chairman Jim O'Neill and the Goldman Sachs Global Economics, Commodities, and Strategy Research Team coined the term in 2005. The N-11 countries include Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Turkey and Vietnam. Goldman has launched four share classes of the fund: A (with an expense ratio of 190 basis points), C (265 bps), Institutional (150 bps) and IR (165 bps).
