Tuesday, August 2, 2011 Huntington Unveils a Disciplined Equity Fund Huntington Funds [see profile] has rolled out the Huntington Disciplined Equity Fund [SEC filing]. The launch brings the number of Columbus, Ohio-based Huntington's mutual funds to 26. Donald Keller, president and chief investment officer at Huntington National Bank subsidiary Haberer Registsered Investment Advisor, Inc., is the fund's PM. The fund comes with expense ratios of 143 basis points for A shares and 118 bps for Trust shares. In a press release on Monday, Randy Bateman, Huntington Funds CIO and president of Huntington Asset Advisors, talked about the fund's target market. "The Fund is designed for investors who may be concerned about their ability to achieve their investment goals if there is a sudden drop in the market," Bateman said.
