TD Ameritrade Takes Some of the Guesswork out of Choosing the Right Fund

Building a diversified portfolio of mutual funds just got easier, thanks to new enhancements and tools from TD Ameritrade, Inc. (“TD Ameritrade”), a broker dealer subsidiary of TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation, TD Ameritrade announced today.

Among the changes are enhancements to TD Ameritrade’s No Transaction Fee Premier List, which features mutual fund top picks* from independent experts at Morningstar Associates, LLC that are streamlined into four investment categories. The list is now more visual and intuitive, including third-party research embedded directly into the platform. Now, investors can simply mouse over a fund and the relevant analyst note pops up.

"Investors want simplicity without sacrificing sophistication," said Aaron Dillon, director of mutual funds at TD Ameritrade. "These enhancements are designed to help investors select funds that have been pre-screened by third-party experts, in a way that eliminates extra clicks, provides objective research more directly, and makes building a portfolio more visual and easier to do."
