Friday, June 15, 2012 Morningstar Flow Rankings Show a Good Month for MFS Morningstar's May mutual fund flows data showed a big month for MFS [profile], launching the shop to the third spot on the table for the month despite sitting at seventh for the year. This outperformance is based largely on a $1.3 billion influx of cash into MFS Value, though its sibling MFS Emerging Markets Debt also brought in a not-so-paltry $450 million. American Funds [profile], on the other hand, saw its 35th straight month of outflows. The Growth Fund of America saw $3.1 million in outflows, with American Funds totaling 4.7 million in outflows.
