Tuesday, December 24, 2002 OppFunds to eWholesale The days of "eAnything" being a business model are over and gone, but that does not mean that fund firms are giving up on the concept all together. One area that still holds appeal for some is eWholesaling. Looking to jump on the bandwagon in 2003 is OppenheimerFunds. The unit of MassMutual is reportedly planning to roll out an eWholesaling system in 2003 that will integrate with all of the firm's sales efforts. OppenheimerFunds has been beta testing the service in recent months. The firm is continuing to develop metrics for measuring the performance of the system and is also still developing the content that it will be using in it. Ultimately, the system will be rolled out in all of OppenheimerFunds' markets. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=4238 Copyright 2002, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
