Thursday, January 2, 2003 Strong Opens Minnesota Fund Strong Funds has kicked off the New Year by adding the Minnesota Tax-Free Fund to its lineup. The offering is its first tax-exempt fund for Minnesota. Jill Cullen, manager of Strong's Minnesota offices, said that the fund was opened in response to client demand. "We live in a relatively high-tax state, and this is an area where Strong's experienced municipal investment team can help relieve some of the tax burden for Minnesota investors." Duane McAllister, who joined Strong from Aid Association for Lutherans, and Chad Rach, co-manager of the Strong Wisconsin Tax-Free Fund, are co-managers of the fund.
