Yes, quarce is a word and it signifies the fourth occurrence of something in a row, like what has been happening to Battenkill Capital Management. In the past three weeks, Battenkill has been removed as sub-advisor from four mutual funds, according to SEC filings. On February 11, Battenkill was removed as sub-advisor from the SCA Absolute Return Fund and the SCA Directional Fund. Also on February 11, Battenkill was removed as sub-advisor from the Alternative Avenue Fund.
