Wednesday, January 8, 2003 Bisys Rolls Out Hedge Fund Platform Bisys is rolling out a hedge fund platform based on services created by its Hemisphere division and Mellon's Eagle Investment Systems. The servicing platform is being marketed under the name h-EDGE as an outsourcing solution for hedge fund sponsors. The service adds straight-through securities processing, reconciliation, and pricing; daily P&L reporting; and flexible Web-based reporting and inquiry functionality for portfolio analytics, according to Tom Healy, president of Hemisphere. Healy added that the platform integrates with Eagle Pace, Eagle STAR, and PT-Plus systems. Bisys acquired Hemisphere in March 2002, and operates the unit as a component of Bisys' Alternative Investment Services.
