According to reporters Kirsten Grind and Telis Demos, sources close to the situation say the testing phase of the effort went poorly, with only a few trades taking place each day. Instead of developing its own platform, BlackRock will announce that clients will be able to trade through MarketAxess Holdings Inc., the story says.
