Monday, January 27, 2003 Placemark Names Sales Chief Managed accounts specialist Placemark Investments has brought Richard Dion onboard to head its sales and marketing efforts. The Boston-based firm provides a platform for advisors. Dion was most recently CEO of Oberon Financial Technology. His position is newly created, said a spokesperson. "Richard has a proven record of success in helping to build businesses that serve the broker-dealer and financial planning marketplaces. His experience will be a tremendous asset for Placemark as we continue to grow," said Lee Chertavian, chief executive officer at Placemark Investments in a statement. Dion is a 15-year veteran of Fidelity Investments. He was part of the team that built and managed the interactive services of the firm's wholesale mutual fund distribution business.
