According to the Boston Globe, his $1.9 billion Putnam Equity Spectrum Fund earned 43.6% for 2013 through the end of last week, beating the S&P 500 by more than 11 percentage points. His $4.4 billion Putnam Capital Spectrum Fund gained 34.8%. As a result, Steven Syre, writer of the Boston Capital column, named Glancy the Boston Capital mutual fund manager of 2013.
